Ravenshoe Community Centre was started in 1990 by a small group of volunteers as a not-for-profit community-based organisation that would respond to identified needs within the community. RCC Inc is funded by various state and commonwealth departments to deliver services to the whole community that provide access to the following:

• information and referral
• personal, family and youth support
• poverty relief
• home care, social support and respite services for the frail aged, younger people with disabilities and carers
• childcare
